Make some noise, Gryffindors, because you’re about to embark on a bold, action-packed stay in Melbourne. Don’t worry – this is right in your wheelhouse. Embarking on courageous adventures is what Gryffindors are known for, and just like the Harry Potter series’ three brave protagonists, you’ll be testing your mettle at some of Melbourne’s most daring activities as well. We know you pride yourself on being the main organiser in your friendship group, so here are a bunch of ideas for your next group hang around Melbourne. The best part? There will be plenty of time for a (butter) beer.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has reopened in Melbourne – a groundbreaking two-part live theatre show you can see right now at the Princess Theatre. To celebrate, take yourself out on a full-day adventure based on your Hogwarts house: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.

Wake up bright, early and raring to go before heading to Melbourne’s famous Degraves Street for a coffee – you’ll need all your bravery to navigate the crowds at Melbourne’s most jam-packed laneway. Take that coffee with you as you walk the six minutes to Bowery to Williamsburg, where you should face down the fried chicken and waffles – and a spicy Texas Bloody Mary if you have the nerve. Go on, we dare you.
