Eight Hong Kong bars have been listed as honourees for the 2020 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, of which the winners are set to be announced on July 25 in New Orleans. Now in its 14th year, the prestigious awards continuous to celebrate professionals, organisations and establishments elevating the cocktail and spirit scene across the world.
The awards are split regionally, within the United States (East, Central and West) and internationally in the Asia Pacific, Europe, The Americas, and the Middle East and Africa. In the Asia Pacific region, we can be proud to see our city's bars in the running for the following awards:
Best International Bar Team – DarkSide
Best International Cocktail Bar – Coa, The Old Man
Best International Hotel Bar – Caprice, DarkSide, Lobster Bar, PDT
Best International Restaurant Bar – The Shady Acres
Best International New Cocktail Bar – Tell Camellia

UPDATE: On May 4, Tales of the Cocktail announced the top 10 nominees for the Spirited Awards, with The Old Man remaining as one of now only 10 in the running for Best International Cocktail Bar. Fingers crossed that The Old Man comes out the winner of this award on July 25!
