We couldn’t be prouder to have the top-ranked hotel in the world and in Asia

They’ve done it again: Rosewood Hong Kong just got ranked No. 1 at The 50 Best Hotels 2026 awards ceremony in Paris, holding onto its crown for the second consecutive year. For those who might be slightly confused, this awards list was renamed from what was previously known as The World’s 50 Best Hotels, as the hospitality media company rebrands itself from 50 Best to simply The 50.
This 65-storey tower on prime harbourfront real estate in Tsim Sha Tsui was already ranked No. 1 last year, following a respectable No. 3 ranking in 2024. This means Rosewood Hong Kong has also automatically won the title of the Best Hotel in Asia.
Boasting 413 guest rooms and suites across 43 floors, the property also houses 11 dining concepts including the one-Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant The Legacy House, classic French fare at Marmo Bistro, an upscale take on Hong Kong’s cha chaan tengs at Holt’s Café, and one-Michelin-starred refined Indian dishes at Chaat. Don’t forget their two bars, including the sultry DarkSide which was ranked No. 17 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024.
Rosewood Hong Kong also has a strong focus on wellness, with the Asaya spa spanning multiple floors, offering an extensive range of wellness treatments, an infinity pool, and private Asaya Lodges for therapeutic-centric stays.
The exquisite riverside property Capella Bangkok was named No. 2, climbing up one spot from last year. Meanwhile, the Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River located right next door to the Capella placed at No. 3. As for other Hong Kong hotels that made the top 50 list, there’s Upper House at No. 8 and The Peninsula Hong Kong at No. 46, while the Rosewood brand also won a special category in the Ferrari Trento Most Admired Hotel Group Award.
