Labor Day weekend in Los Angeles

Spend three days off by the beach or in your own backyard to say goodbye to summer this Labor Day 2023

Labor Day may signal the ceremonial end of summer, but September here in L.A. is just business as usual. You’ll still find most summer events continuing into the fall, most notably a packed slate of outdoor movies. But hey, an extra day off is an extra day off, so take full advantage of the three-day weekend and pack it full of food, time outdoors and Labor Day weekend events. You can hold off on a trip to the sure-to-be-mobbed beach, though—that warm weather isn’t going anywhere.

When is Labor Day?

Labor Day is Monday, September 4, 2023.
