There are fewer things more satisfying than landing your lips on an ice-cold beer after work, even if you're just enjoying it in your PJs on the couch. Luckily, Hong Kong is home to a ton of great breweries that offer a slew of gorgeous craft beers – most of which you can order online and have them delivered to your doorstep! We'll drink to that.

RECOMMENDED: More of a coffee drinker? Check out these cafes and coffee shops that do deliveries.

This employee-driven company is all about democracy. From the next beer flavour they're going to brew to the packaging design, their entire team has a chance to vote and pitch ideas. Despite being the new kids on the block, Carbon Brews has already released over 10 different flavours of beer and is showing no signs of stopping. From its Crazy Rich Lupilins (mango and papaya flavoured) to My Big Fat Belli-ni (peach milkshake flavoured), the innovative brand watches the market's response and pushes out beers with playful names and tastes accordingly.

Hong Kong Beer Co. is one of the OGs of the local craft beer scene with a long and rocky history that dates back as far as 1995. Today, Hong Kong Beer Co is now owned by Devin Kimble and Daniel Flores, founders of the multiple award-winning Brewerkz Restaurant & Microbrewery in Singapore. Using the finest malts, hops, and yeasts from around the world, HKBC tastes just as good as it looks. If you're new to craft beer, we recommend trying the Gambler's Gold, a well-balanced dry ale with accents of tropical fruit with a lightly roasted maltiness.

Made by locals, for locals. Founded in 2014, owners of Mak's Beer, Mak Ho-lun, Mak Po, and Lo Tak-chi wanted to create something that would suit Hongkongers' taste. Fine-tuning its recipes to introduce unique, subtle flavours, the brewery whips up a ton of great beers inspired by Hong Kong culture. Go for something classic like the brewery's first product, Yim Tininspired by the quiet village of Yim Tin Tsai in Sai Kung, or try our favourite, the Sugarcane Juice beer, which is produced in collaboration with Kung Lee Herbal Tea, a fourth-gen herbal tea shop in Central. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Moonzen, a family-run brewery fueled by the rich tapestry of Chinese culture, has been a big part of Hong Kong’s craft beer revolution. Its classic brews have epic names such as Thunder God pale ale, Jade Emperor IPA, and Moon Goddess chocolate stout. Moonzen beers are all unpasteurised and unfiltered so you’ll always get the true flavours of the beer in every sip.

Try Quit Your Job! No, not literally. Quit Your Job is just one of Yardley Brothers' many tongue-in-cheek named beers. Pushing the boundaries with not just product names but also their craft, Yardley Brothers is all about the community. Determined to show Hong Kong, and the rest of Asia, how true, quality beers are made, the brewery has a production capacity of over 5,000 litres of beer! All the more to make staple beers such as the Lamma Island IPA, Hong Kong Bastard Imperial IPA, Machine Men pale ale and more.
