Exclusive debut: Suzi Shelton's new music video

The Brooklyn-based songstress gives Time Out Kids readers an exclusive first look at her new cheerful music video for "Go, Fire Truck, Go"

The award-winning singer-songwriter Suzi Shelton really knows how to get kids singing and dancing with her upbeat, poppy tunes, and her newest music video is no exception. The cheerful song "Go, Fire Truck, Go"—a hit single from her forthcoming album, Smile in My Heart—has us tapping our toes, and we love the music video starring city kids at an actual FDNY fire station!

RECOMMENDED: Spring festivals and fairs

The artist and mother of two filmed her video locally, featuring energetic kids from the area and a big, red fire truck from FDNY Engine 220/Ladder 122 in Park Slope. While Suzi strums the guitar, tykes decked out in fire hats and gear hoist "Stop" and "Go" signs while singing along to the jaunty tune. Some real fire-fighters can't help but join in on the fun too, shaking their hips in uniform.

Click on the video below for an exclusive first look, and keep an eye out for the new album, which will contain 12 interactive songs inspired by Suzi's family, featuring some guest vocals from Mike Messer of the Dirty Sock Funtime Band, and Little Miss Ann. Suzi, along with her talented bandmates, plana to launch a spring-summer concert tour as well, so stay tuned for upcoming events on our site.
