When is the Bryant Park Winter Village?
By the time you choose a costume at a Halloween store in NYC, The Bank of America Winter Village in Bryant Park will already be open for business. The merriest holiday market opens its doors starting Saturday, October 28. The Rink and Public Fair will run through March 4, 2017.
What are the hours of operation for the Bryant Park Winter Village 2017?
Skating hours: Daily 8am–10pm, through Mar 4. Holiday Shops: Mon–Fri 11am–8pm, Sat, Sun 10am–8pm, through January 2. Many shops are open on major holidays.

What is there to do at the Bryant Park Winter Village?
Not only is there free ice-skating on Bryant Park's 17,000-square-foot outdoor rink (you may bring your own skates or rent for $20), Urbanspace—the brand that’s responsible for Union Square’s and Columbus Circle’s holiday markets as well as Mad. Sq. Eats—is bringing more than 150 holiday shops, including a bunch of new kiosks and eateries for your shopping and eating pleasure. There is also the aforementioned rink-side pop-up restaurant Public Fare (open daily from 8am–10pm), serving coffee, snack, sandwiches and soup during the day as well as dinner and drinks during the evening.

Ahh, don’t you just love the holidays in New York? Out of all the things to do in fall in NYC, everyone looks forward to the return of The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park the most. Why? Because once the 17,000-square-foot outdoor ice skating rink and more than 100 shopping and food kiosks open for business, this means that Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are officially right around the corner. The most wonderful time of the year is nearly upon us! RECOMMENDED: Full guide to Christmas in New York The legendary holiday market will open to the public on Saturday, October 29 (similar to 2015’s speedy opening date). However, unlike last year, Bryant Park Corporation has teamed up with some new and interesting local business partners. Remember Bryant Park’s rink-side pop-up restaurant, Celsius? Well, Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group is taking over by opening a fine-casual, seasonal eatery dubbed Public Fare—like Meyer’s former Central Park takeout spot. The grub hub will sit on the northeast corner of The Rink, and will operate food concessions inside the Skating Pavilion. This all-day operation (open from 8am to 10pm) will serve locals and tourists tasty food such as sandwiches, soup and coffee, and will then transition into a wine and cocktail bar at night. On October 29, the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will open for the 2016 holiday season! (Yes, we know it's not even Halloween yet). We've already told you about all the changes and new partners set for the Winter Village last month, but the good news just keeps rolling in with the announcement of this year's vendor list. And Urbanspace's roster of makers, creators and food purveyors certainly doesn't disappoint. This year's holiday shops will feature over 125 boutiques hawking everything from jewelry and decorative goods to beauty products and food. Johnny Weir is named the first Winter Village Skating Ambassador
On the same day that the United Nations made history by designating Wonder Woman as an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls, NYC's Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park has announced a rather bold ambassadorship of their own. Starting on November 1, everyone's favorite ice skater with attitude, Johnny Weir, will serve as the park's first-ever Winter Village Ambassador. Apparently, the two-time Olympian and reality TV favorite will perform feats on ice throughout the season, serve as a creative consultant for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, and welcome guests to the park. This year's Winter Village promises to have more colorful perks than ever, with UrbanSpace bringing in new retailers and vendors including Strand Book Store and Farm to People.
